Taipi Island - Sulawesi

Taipi Island is a decent choice for an easy dive in Sulawesi, especially if you’re keen on seeing coral. The staghorn coral is particularly abundant here, creating wide fields that look pretty impressive when the light hits them right. You’ll also spot plenty of other reef-building corals, like branch and starflower, along with several clam species tucked into the crevices – think bear paw and boring clams, even some small giant clams if you keep an eye out. It’s a comfortable dive, good for stretching your bottom time and just enjoying the sheer volume of coral.
