Taipi Wall runs north to south, a dramatic drop full of character. We often find ourselves cruising past deep overhangs, then around jutting seams, poking into cracks. Look closely and you’ll spot sea fans and gorgonians packed into every nook. The sandy slope at the wall's base holds dense patches of cabbage corals and scattered bommies, home to some impressive table corals. It’s a site where we usually see a good number of red and blue soft corals, often with tiny host shrimps tucked inside. Keep an eye out for tiger cowries and perhaps a leaf scorpionfish camouflaged on the wall itself. This one suits divers who enjoy a detailed wall dive, where a slower pace rewards careful observation.
