Tanjung Pasir - Sulawesi

Wedding Chapel in Somosomo Strait. That name might conjure images of some cutesy, heart-shaped coral, but trust us, it’s a proper dive. We love it for its structure, all those coral heads starting shallow and tumbling down to 21 meters. You’ll spend most of your time ducking through swim-throughs and archways, feeling the current tug you gently through the tunnels. It’s an almost architectural dive, if that makes sense. We’ve seen hawksbills resting under ledges here, and the light filtering through the overhead coral is something special. Look for small things, too; the palespot eviota are tiny but fascinating. We'd suggest an incoming tide for the best visibility and a smoother drift. It's a comfortable spot for most certified divers, and even strong snorkellers can get a lot out of the shallower sections. The soft corals here are just brilliant.
