Turtle Point - Sulawesi

Turtle Point in Sulawesi isn't just a clever name, though we do see plenty of resident turtles here – often green sea turtles grazing lazily in the shallows. The real draw, for us, is the sheer density of smaller reef fish. You'll find schools of Dark-fin Chromis darting around, Six-line Wrasse zipping between the coral heads, and look close for the tiny, fascinating Yellow-red Pygmygoby. Keep an eye out for a Blotchfin Scorpionfish camouflaged on the rubble, too. It’s a calmer spot, generally, making it a good choice for newer divers or anyone keen on taking their time to really observe the smaller creatures that make the reef tick.
