Kaliage Kecil Utara - Sumatra

Kaliage Kecil Utara gives you a genuine snapshot of reef recovery. We typically find the corals here in good nick, particularly through the mid-section where the conservation efforts are paying off. You'll spot plenty of filament-fin wrasse darting between the staghorn formations, and the resident clown anemonefish always put on a show in their host anemones. Just watch out for the currents; they can pick up quite a bit between tides, so it’s worth timing your dive. We usually avoid the deepest parts of the valley, as the visibility can get a bit soupy down there.
