Kayuangin Lagoon - Sumatra

Kayuangin Lagoon offers a gentle dive, a nice contrast to some of Sumatra's more exposed sites. The lagoon itself acts as a natural shelter, keeping currents to a minimum, which is always a bonus. We’ve found it’s a great spot for checking out the smaller stuff – lots of cowries tucked away, and the Staghorn coral provides plenty of hiding spots for juvenile fish. You’ll definitely see your share of Clark's and clown anemonefish tending their homes. It’s not a deep dive, perfect for those days when you want to relax and really observe.
