Uranus Pinnacle - Sumatra

Uranus Pinnacle is a shallow dive, topping out at 8 meters, and it’s a site that definitely keeps you on your toes. We usually recommend a negative entry here; it’s exposed, and the surface chop can be a bit lively. Once you’re down, it’s all about the staghorn coral. Seriously, it blankets the pinnacle in a way we haven't seen in many places, offering a stark, almost sculptural landscape. Visibility can be a challenge, often a bit turbid, so keep your buddy close. It's a dive for those who appreciate the subtle beauty of a single coral species dominating an entire ecosystem, a very unique experience if you’re into coral identification.
