Bidong Jetty - Perhentian Islands

Bidong Jetty is one of those Perhentian spots that’s surprisingly good for a checkout dive or a relaxed afternoon drift. The jetty itself attracts a decent amount of schooling fish, with batfish and fusiliers often circling the pylons. We've seen blue-spotted stingrays tucked into the sand and even a few grumpy stonefish camouflaged amongst the rocks near the reef edge. It’s shallow, maxing out at 15 metres, which means plenty of light for spotting the smaller stuff, making it a comfortable dive for beginners or anyone keen on a slow pace.
