With 142+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blue-spotted stingrays, eagle rays, sea turtles and sperm whales - Mari Mari Shore offers some of Sipadan's richest diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest May, October, November.
Mari Mari Shore is a straightforward entry dive, topping out at 15 meters. It’s a gentle introduction for newer divers getting their fins wet in Sipadan, or for a relaxed afternoon dip. Expect to see the usual reef suspects – parrotfish, wrasse, and an occasional turtle cruising by. It’s not the dramatic drop-offs of Barracuda Point, but it’s a good spot to get comfortable.
