Meringgis Bay, Gaya Island - Sipadan

Meringgis Bay, over on Gaya Island, is a good spot for a relaxed dive if you’re looking for something calm. It’s a shallow reef, never really going beyond 15 meters, which makes it perfect for beginners or anyone keen on a longer bottom time. We often see green turtles here, just cruising past the coral bommies, and there’s usually a decent population of anemonefish swaying in their homes. The current is typically pretty mild, so it’s easy to just drift along and take it all in.
