With 142+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blue-spotted stingrays, eagle rays, sea turtles and sperm whales - Pandan Pandan Island offers some of Sipadan's richest reef diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest May, October, November.
Pandan Pandan Island gives you a gentle drift over a shallow reef, making it a good choice for newer divers or a relaxed second dive. You’ll find a mix of hard and soft corals here, with plenty of small reef fish darting amongst them. Look for the occasional turtle cruising by, especially along the deeper edges. It’s a solid, easy dive, though not one for the big pelagic action.
