PICHO - Sipadan
Picho, sometimes called the Sipadan Wreck, sits upright in very shallow water, making it a different kind of dive for the area. This isn't a deep, dramatic wreck, but a 30-meter former safety vessel, the *Afon Alaw*, now home to a surprising amount of life. We like it for a relaxed second dive or even a snorkel, with light streaming through the structure. Look for resident batfish schooling around the mast and glassfish shimmering in the darker sections. It's a calm dive, good for photographers wanting to capture light on metal and those who appreciate how nature reclaims man-made objects.
