With 142+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blue-spotted stingrays, eagle rays, sea turtles and sperm whales - Ricky Rock offers some of Sipadan's richest diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest May, October, November.
Ricky Rock offers a unique rocky reef profile, something a little different from Sipadan's usual wall dives. We’ve found it’s a good spot for spotting the smaller, more cryptic critters that like to hide amongst the boulders and crevices. It suits divers looking for a slightly slower pace, with a chance to really explore the nooks for lionfish or moray eels.
