With 142+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blue-spotted stingrays, eagle rays, sea turtles and sperm whales - Ron Reef offers some of Sipadan's richest reef diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest May, October, November.
Ron Reef, on Sipadan, offers a relaxed drift over a healthy coral slope. You'll often spot green sea turtles munching on corals here, along with groups of reef sharks cruising by. It’s a good spot for newer divers to experience Sipadan’s currents without too much drama, and a fine warm-up for its more intense sites.
