With 107+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, sea turtles, whale sharks and pufferfish - Dungun offers some of Tioman Island's richest diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest April, May, November.
Dungun sits off the coast of Tioman, a mellow dive to a maximum depth of 18m. It's a good spot for newer divers, with gentle currents and generally good visibility. You'll often find a decent variety of reef fish here, along with the occasional turtle grazing amongst the corals. It’s a solid choice for a relaxed second dive of the day.
