Let's be clear, finding the wreck often known as Santa Point isn't a guaranteed thing. It's a deep dive, sitting at around 59 metres, so you'll want your technical certs in order. What you're looking for is the former HISA MARU, a motor vessel that went down back in '78. We’ve found her upright on the seabed, largely intact, and she’s become a seriously impressive artificial reef. Expect big groupers lurking in the shadows of the holds, schools of barracuda circling above the superstructure, and a surprising amount of colourful soft corals starting to colonise the metal. It's a proper adventure, a real hunt, and the reward is a quiet, deep exploration of a piece of history. Definitely one for the advanced divers who appreciate a challenge and a genuinely atmospheric wreck.
