Why dive here
With 107+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, sea turtles, whale sharks and pufferfish - Soyak offers some of Tioman Island's richest diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest April, May, November.
Soyak sits off Tioman’s east coast, a good spot for a relaxed drift. We often see schools of fusiliers here, along with the occasional turtle gliding past. It's a gentle dive, good for new divers or anyone wanting an easy second tank. Expect a sandy bottom with scattered coral bommies holding plenty of smaller reef fish.
