With 107+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, sea turtles, whale sharks and pufferfish - Teluk Kador offers some of Tioman Island's richest diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest April, May, November.
Teluk Kador is a gentle introduction to Tioman diving, often used for training dives or easy refreshes. We found the sloping reef to be a good spot for spotting blue-spotted rays resting on the sand, along with the usual cast of parrotfish and angelfish. It's a relaxed dive, typically with mild currents, making it ideal for newer divers or those looking for a calm afternoon. Visibility here can vary, but on a good day, it offers pleasant, straightforward exploring.
