With 107+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, sea turtles, whale sharks and pufferfish - Tg Api Lighthouse offers some of Tioman Island's richest diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest April, May, November.
Tg Api Lighthouse is a solid, easy dive, perfect for a relaxed afternoon. The reef here, a sloping wall that bottoms out around 20 metres, is pretty healthy, with plenty of branching corals and anemones. We often see clownfish families here, bold as brass, and it’s a good spot to try and find a turtle munching on the reef. It’s an ideal site for newer divers or those looking for a couple of chill dives to warm up.
