The Twin Islands in Myanmar’s Mergui Archipelago are a pair of popular spots, and for good reason. Down below, you’ll find huge boulders, creating a maze of canyons and swim-throughs draped in colourful soft corals. We’ve seen ribbon eels poking their heads out, spotted Spanish dancers moving across the reef, and watched eagle rays glide past in the blue. Keep an eye out for leopard, nurse, and even bull sharks if you’re lucky, especially early in the morning. It’s a site that rewards a slow drift, letting you soak in all the nooks and crannies.
