Volcano - Mergui Archipelago

Volcano, in Myanmar’s Mergui Archipelago, gives you a good sense of the area’s recovering health. We’ve found the dive here to be a gentle drift along a healthy coral reef, a welcome change after some of the more… challenging sites Mergui can throw at you. Blacktip reef sharks often cruise the shallows, and if you have a keen eye, seahorses hide amongst the corals – we usually spend a good portion of the dive searching them out. It's a relaxed dive, perfect for photographers or anyone who appreciates a calmer pace, especially now with the conservation efforts starting to show real results.
