Why dive here
With 87+ marine species recorded in the area - including clownfish, lionfish and pufferfish - Mahangkig offers some of Anilao's richest diving. Water ranges 27-31°C, warmest May, June, July.
Mahanagkig often delivers some of Anilao's most reliable currents, which keeps the reef healthy and a great spot for pelagics. We've seen eagle rays cruise past, and the schools of jacks can be immense here. It’s a site best suited for divers comfortable with a drift and ready to cover some ground.
