With 87+ marine species recorded in the area - including clownfish, lionfish and pufferfish - Mainit offers some of Anilao's richest diving. Water ranges 27-31°C, warmest May, June, July.
Mainit is a good spot for divers who appreciate the smaller stuff. We often find critters like ornate ghost pipefish and various nudibranchs tucked into the soft corals. It's an easy dive, generally protected from strong currents, making it ideal for macro photographers or divers wanting a relaxed pace. Keep an eye out for mandarinfish during dusk dives.
