Shark Cave
Why dive here
With 87+ marine species recorded in the area - including clownfish, lionfish and pufferfish - Shark Cave offers some of Anilao's richest cave diving. Water ranges 27-31°C, warmest May, June, July.
Shark Cave is exactly what it sounds like, a cave where you might find sharks. It's a short swim into an overhang, and we've usually seen white-tip reef sharks resting on the bottom inside. It’s not a deep penetration dive, making it a good spot for newer cave divers or those just looking for a quick peek at some sharks out of the current.
Safety Notes
Overhead environment - never enter without proper cave/cavern training, redundant equipment, and a guideline.
