折扇礁 is a reef dive where divers can encounter sea turtles and sperm whales. Water ranges 27-30°C, warmest May, June, July.
折扇礁, or Folding Fan Reef, is a sloping coral garden in Palawan. Expect to drift past bommies covered in whip corals and sea fans, with plenty of reef fish flitting between them. It’s a pretty relaxed dive, good for photographers keen on macro subjects and newer divers building confidence. We’ve often spotted schooling fusiliers here, too.
