Irving Reef - Palawan
Irving Reef, tucked away in the Spratly Islands off Palawan, offers a glimpse into a less-visited corner of the South China Sea. We’ve found the reef here is predominantly hard coral, creating a sturdy foundation for smaller reef fish. You'll often spot triggerfish darting amongst the bommies and the occasional parrotfish munching away. It's not a site known for big pelagics, but if you're keen on exploring a healthy, if understated, coral ecosystem, it's a solid dive. We think it’s best suited for divers who appreciate quiet exploration over dramatic encounters.
