Southwest Shea
Why dive here
Southwest Shea is a dive where divers can encounter sea turtles and sperm whales. Water ranges 27-30°C, warmest May, June, July.
Southwest Shea offers a solid Palawan dive, though it's not the area's biggest showstopper. We’ve seen respectable hard coral formations here, including some decent staghorn. Keep an eye out for the common comet star; they’re pretty distinctive against the reef. It’s a good choice for divers looking for a quieter morning or afternoon drift, without the crowds of some of the more popular spots nearby.
