STANFORD - Tubbataha Reef

The Stanford wreck isn’t your typical Tubbataha dive, which often means sheer walls and pelagic action. This 43-meter tug, grounded on South Islet back in 1975, offers a different kind of charm. We’ve found her upper sections are fairly broken up after years of swell, but the deeper hull still holds its shape, providing some interesting swim-throughs if you're comfortable with tight spaces. Look for schooling fusiliers darting around the structure, and we often spot whitetip reef sharks resting in the sand nearby. It's a nice change of pace, particularly for wreck enthusiasts who appreciate history and the way the reef reclaims things.
