With 554+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, manta rays and mobula rays (devil rays) - Baring offers some of Visayas's richest reef diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest May, June, October.
Baring offers an intermediate dive to a maximum depth of 23m. We found it a decent spot for a relaxed drift, though currents can pick up. Keep an eye out for a good variety of reef fish and smaller critters tucked into the coral patches. It’s a solid choice for divers looking for an easy-going afternoon dive, but don't expect anything too dramatic.
