With 554+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, manta rays and mobula rays (devil rays) - Dapdap offers some of Visayas's richest diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest May, June, October.
Dapdap in Visayas offers a straightforward dive, topping out around 20 metres. It’s a good spot for newer divers getting comfortable with their buoyancy, or those looking for a relaxed afternoon dip. You’ll find typical reef inhabitants here, a scattering of small fish and the occasional nudibranch if you look carefully. It’s not a showstopper, but it’s a perfectly pleasant way to spend an hour underwater.
