Why dive here
With 554+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, manta rays and mobula rays (devil rays) - Lumayag Reef offers some of Visayas's richest reef diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest May, June, October.
Lumayag Reef is a gentle coral site in the Visayas. It’s a good spot for spotting the local seagrass beds, particularly species like Cymodocea and Thalassia, which you don’t always get a good look at on other reefs. If you’re into macro life that lives in the seagrass, or just prefer a relaxed, shallower dive, this could be a good choice.
