With 554+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, manta rays and mobula rays (devil rays) - Magellan offers some of Visayas's richest diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest May, June, October.
Magellan offers a straightforward dive, often with a gentle current pushing you along a sloping reef. You’ll drift past patches of hard coral and sponge, keeping an eye out for smaller reef fish like damselfish and parrotfish darting between the formations. It’s a good spot for newer divers looking for a relaxed drift or for a second dive of the day. Visibility is generally good, making for an easy, pleasant dive.
