With 554+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, manta rays and mobula rays (devil rays) - Mahaba Island offers some of Visayas's richest reef diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest May, June, October.
Mahaba Island offers a relaxed dive, usually a drift along a sloping reef. You'll often spot schools of fusiliers and jacks, with the occasional turtle cruising past. It’s a good option for divers who prefer a more gentle current and appreciate spotting macro life tucked into the corals. We find it’s a pleasant way to spend an afternoon.
