With 554+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, manta rays and mobula rays (devil rays) - Marigondon Cave offers some of Visayas's richest cave diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest May, June, October.
Marigondon Cave offers an accessible cavern dive just off Mactan Island. We drop down to an opening around 30 metres, where you can fin into a large chamber. The light filters in, illuminating a few lionfish and some smaller reef fish near the entrance. It's a good spot for divers looking to experience their first overhead environment without pushing too deep.
