With 554+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, manta rays and mobula rays (devil rays) - Punta offers some of Visayas's richest diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest May, June, October.
Punta is a gentle slope, mostly rubble and sand, but we always find something interesting in the macro world if we slow down. Look for gobies, blennies, and the occasional pipefish tucked into the detritus. It’s a good spot for a second dive, particularly if you’re into critter hunting and prefer a relaxed pace over dramatic scenery.
