SD FLORID - Visayas

The SD Florid sits upright, a surprisingly intact motor vessel resting on a sandy bottom at 50 meters. We’ve found the stern section, in particular, offers some interesting penetration for divers comfortable with overhead environments and good buoyancy. Schools of yellow-lined snapper often swirl around the bow, and we’ve spotted giant frogfish camouflaged on the deck plating more than once. It’s a compelling technical dive, a chance to explore a genuine shipwreck rather than just a pile of debris, and it’s generally best suited for experienced wreck divers looking for depth and some honest exploration.
