With 554+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, manta rays and mobula rays (devil rays) - Virgin Mary offers some of Visayas's richest diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest May, June, October.
Drop down to a concrete statue of the Virgin Mary, submerged years ago off the coast of Visayas. It’s a bit of an oddity, certainly. While the statue itself is the main draw, you'll often find a decent collection of reef fish sheltering around its base. It’s a good spot for a second dive, something different after exploring the natural reefs nearby.
