OrcaNation Singapore - Southern Islands
The team at OrcaNation Singapore are what we’d call dedicated. This isn’t a quick-certification factory; these guys focus on serious diver development, offering a full range right up to PADI Instructor Development Courses. If you’re looking to really hone your skills or take that big step into professional diving, this is your place in Singapore. They’re less about the quick splash and more about creating truly competent, confident divers. What we really appreciate about OrcaNation is their commitment to local diving. While Singapore’s Southern Islands aren’t exactly the Red Sea, there’s a surprising amount to see if you know where to look, and the OrcaNation crew certainly do. We’ve had some fantastic dives with them exploring the wrecks around Semakau, feeling that cool thermocline hit as we descended onto the hull, surrounded by schooling barracuda. Their local knowledge is second to none, helping you spot the smaller critters that thrive here – nudibranchs, pipefish, and even seahorses if you’re patient and have a keen eye. We'd suggest asking them about their specific wreck diving trips; those are our favourite. They also run trips out to their centre in Rawa, Malaysia, which is a great add-on for a weekend away once you’ve done your local dives.
