Eastern Lagoon, Lazarus Island - Southern Islands
Diving Singapore’s Eastern Lagoon on Lazarus Island isn’t about huge pelagics or dramatic drop-offs, but it’s a genuinely pleasant way to spend an afternoon underwater. At a max depth of 9m, it’s a calm, easy dive, perfect for newer divers getting comfortable with their buoyancy or experienced folks looking for a relaxing poke around. You'll find scattered coral patches providing homes for nudibranchs, small crabs, and the occasional schooling fusilier. Look closely in the sandy patches for garden eels poking their heads out, and we’ve spotted cuttlefish here too. It’s accessible, low-stress, and a good reminder that every dive has something interesting to offer if you take the time to look.
