With 263+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue-spotted stingrays, dugongs, giant moray eels, seahorses and sea turtles - Jong South offers some of Southern Islands's richest diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest May, June, November.
Jong South is a mellow drift along a sandy slope, topping out at 17 metres. You’ll find nudibranchs, gobies, and the occasional crab hiding in the rubble. It’s a good spot for newer divers looking to practice buoyancy and spot macro life without strong currents. We often use it as a relaxed second dive.
