Pempang Tengah South is a good spot for a relaxed dive in Singapore’s Southern Islands. Dropping to a gentle 15 metres, it’s a calm introduction for newer divers or a chill afternoon drift for those wanting to take it easy. We often see whip corals here, sometimes with tiny squat lobsters clinging on if you have a keen eye, alongside the usual suspects like damsels and the occasional parrotfish munching away. It might not be Singapore’s most dramatic dive, but it’s consistently pleasant for an easy afternoon underwater.
