SENG HING (POSSIBLY) - Southern Islands
The Seng Hing wreck, a sizable motor vessel, went down in 1992 and now rests upright at 42 metres in the Southern Islands. We've found it’s a good deep dive, but definitely one for experienced wreck divers comfortable with limited visibility, which averages maybe 5-7 metres on a good day. The bow is often the most intact section, offering some interesting penetration if you're qualified and the conditions are right. Look out for the resident batfish and schools of fusiliers hanging around the superstructure, and if you’re lucky, a few larger groupers hiding in the cargo holds. We’d suggest going on a slack tide for the easiest exploration.
