SINAR NUSANTARA - Southern Islands
Diving the Sinar Nusantara is a real Singapore wreck experience. This motor vessel went down after colliding with the MV Hunjiang, and now rests at a maximum depth of 35 meters. It’s classified as a dangerous wreck, so we’d suggest divers approach with respect and good buoyancy. What you'll find is a structure that's been underwater long enough for the marine life to really move in. Look for the schools of batfish hanging off the mast and rudder, and we've seen plenty of fusiliers darting through the superstructure. It's a dive that rewards careful exploration, suited for divers who appreciate the history and the way the ocean reclaims these sunken giants.
