With 158+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, mobula rays (devil rays), whale sharks and pufferfish - Hin Bai offers some of Gulf of Thailand's richest diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest April, May, June.
Hin Bai is a solid dive, a good pick if you're looking for a relaxed time in the Gulf. The rock pinnacle breaks the surface, then drops to about 20 meters, offering some decent swim-throughs and plenty of crevices to explore. We’ve seen cuttlefish and parrotfish here on most visits, sometimes a turtle passing through. It's a comfortable dive, good for newer divers or for a chilled-out second dive.
