With 158+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, mobula rays (devil rays), whale sharks and pufferfish - Hin Yippon offers some of Gulf of Thailand's richest diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest April, May, June.
Hin Yippon is a decent granite pinnacle in the Gulf of Thailand, often done as a second dive. You'll likely see schools of fusiliers, snapper, and perhaps a turtle or two cruising by. It’s a pretty easygoing dive, generally suitable for newer divers looking to warm up or those who prefer shallower, calmer conditions. We find it’s a good spot to relax and observe the smaller reef residents.
