    StandoutExceptional marine biodiversity

Japanese Gardens, tucked into the bay off Koh Nang Yuan, is exactly what it sounds like – a meticulously arranged underwater landscape. Not by human hand, of course, but by nature. The corals here, mostly hard acropora and brain corals, form a series of gentle slopes and terraces down to about 10 meters. We often spot resident blue-spotted stingrays tucked into the sand, and the anemone patches usually host a few families of clownfish. It’s a pretty calm spot, protected from most strong currents, which makes it an ideal introduction for new divers or a relaxing second dive for anyone looking for an easy swim-through.
