With 158+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, mobula rays (devil rays), whale sharks and pufferfish - Khom Beach offers some of Gulf of Thailand's richest diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest April, May, June.
Khom Beach is a straightforward dive, topping out at 11 metres, making it ideal for beginners or those getting back in the water. You’ll find a sandy bottom with scattered corals and anemones, home to damselfish and the occasional juvenile barracuda. It’s a good spot for a relaxed shallow dive or to practice skills without strong currents. We often use it for check-out dives after a long surface interval.
