With 158+ marine species recorded in the area - including blacktip reef sharks, blue-spotted stingrays, mobula rays (devil rays), whale sharks and pufferfish - Koh Kra offers some of Gulf of Thailand's richest diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest April, May, June.
Koh Kra offers some decent diving, especially if you’re staying in the area. Expect to see schools of snappers and fusiliers moving around the rock formations. We've often spotted blue-spotted stingrays tucked into the sand and moray eels peeking from crevices. It's a pretty relaxed dive, good for newer divers or anyone looking for an easy day out.
