Koh Ku La, or เกาะกุลา, is a little spot in the Gulf of Thailand that’s ideal for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed afternoon. At a maximum depth of just 8 meters, it’s a gentle introduction to the local underwater world. You’ll typically drift along, spotting small reef fish flitting between the rocks and the occasional patch of soft coral. It’s a good place for macro enthusiasts too, with nudibranchs and smaller crustaceans often tucked away if you take your time. Expect calm conditions and decent visibility here on most days, making it a very comfortable dive.
