Koh Mat Wai Yai เกาะมัดหวายใหญ่ - Gulf of Thailand

Koh Mat Wai Yai is a good spot if you’re looking for a relaxed dive, especially if you’re newer to the sport or just want to take it easy. The maximum depth here is only 8 metres, which means plenty of bottom time and lots of light. We typically see a good variety of smaller reef fish flitting between the soft corals, plus the occasional blue-spotted stingray resting on the sand. It’s a very calm site, rarely hit by strong currents, making it ideal for photographers or anyone keen to really observe the smaller stuff.
